San Jose Mineta International Airport is a commercial public airport in California, serving the city and bay region of Santa Clara Valley. It’s situated about 5 kms northwest of Downtown San Jose. It has been recorded as the second busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic in the bay area, as this is the largest city. SJC Airport is served by two airlines majorly, while other nine airlines also offer extensive regular and seasonal services. Out of all the traffic, 54% of passengers flew on Southwest Airlines while 19% recorded carrying 19% of them in 2021.
SJC Airport operates on two terminals, A and B. Terminal A has 16 gates and is occupied by American, Delta, Frontier, United Airlines, and Volaris. However, Terminal B contains 20 gates serving Southwest, Alaska, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zipair Tokyo. The faculty has different and specific gates for International Arrivals, gates 15 & 16 in terminal A, and 17 & 18 at Terminal B.
