Designed by Paul Andreu, Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1 is one of the oldest terminal buildings in the facility. Terminal 1 was designed in the shape of an octopus. Seven satellite halls surround the CDG Terminal 1, which are connected through underground walkways. The terminal features modern check-in counters, baggage claim areas, restaurants, cafés, duty-free shops, lounges, hotels, and automated services.
