St. Louis Lambert International Airport, also known as Lambert field is the main airport serving St. Louis, Missouri, and its metropolitan area. Over the time, it has become the largest and the busiest airport in this state being at a distance of 14 miles (23 km) from the downtown area. It is under construction due to its plan of demolishing A, B, C and building a single new concourse with 62 gates in its place .Both terminals provide services for arrivals and departures, along with other amenities located across different concourses.
