Frontier Airlines uses Terminal E at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. “The terminal supports both domestic and international operations. The terminal includes three levels that provide all essential facilities for arrivals and departures. The airport assigns gate E20 for boarding, and Level 2 contains the check-in counters for the DFW Frontier Terminal. International passengers should utilize the CBP office at Terminal D for customs clearance. There is also a level -1, which is a tunnel connecting level 1 to the baggage claim. 

What terminal is Frontier at DFW Airport?

Frontier Airlines operates its flights through Terminal E at Dallas Airport, serving destinations within and outside the United States. It has three main levels for functioning arrivals and departures. 

• Level 1: It is the lower level, also known as the arrival level for Frontier Airlines. It contains more than 10 baggage claim areas, including E14, E15, E31, E32, E33, etc. 
• Level 2: This departure level has all Frontier check-in counters, security checkpoints, and the boarding gate, E20. 
• Level 3: Skylink amenities are accessible here. 

NOTE: The Frontier Terminal at DFW Airport doesn’t have a customs office. Hence, internationally arriving flyers might have to move to DFW Terminal D for the verification process.

Frontier DFW Arrivals Terminal

All Frontier flights arrive at Terminal E of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The lower Level 1 extends all facilities for the domestic arriving process, which includes the baggage claim areas. Multiple bag collection belts are present, and Frontier doesn’t have a specific belt. 

The display screens show the carousel number assigned to each flight. While flyers traveling from outside the U.S. should go to the CBP office first, before collecting their bags. They can access the DFW Ground transportation after completing the process. 

Departures Through Frontier DFW Terminal

Terminal E level 2 supports the departures of Frontier Airlines at DFW Airport. But it doesn’t offer curbside check-in for this airline. To board their flights, passengers must:

• Complete check-in through Frontier ticketing counters and self-service booths, near Door E35 at level 2. 
• Navigate further to the security checkpoints with TSA PreCheck and CLEAR facilities at the same level. 
• Post security check, head to the departure gate E20, near the door E33. 
• Frontier Airlines begins boarding 45 minutes before departure and stops boarding 20 minutes before the flight leaves. 

NOTE: Departing flyers can use the DFW Parking facilities at level 2 of Terminal E.
