Iberia Airlines Terminal at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD)

Iberia Airlines, using the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport as its hub, offers multiple domestic as well as global destinations. Iberia, along with Iberia Express, manages its flight operations from Terminal 4 at the airport. Additionally, the satellite building T4S also has some of the airlines’ flight arrivals and departures. The Iberia Terminal of Madrid includes its check-in desks, ticketing counters, two lounges, and a baggage service office. Other facilities entail security programs, ATMs, luxury stores, information screens, rest areas, and a hotel.

With 5 total levels, Terminal 4 acts as the Iberia Terminal at Madrid-Barajas Airport. These levels provide access to multiple facilities for arrivals and departures.

• Levels -1 and -2: These levels offer connections to the P4 car park, and Level -1 has a VIP Parking meeting point.
• Level 0: Global currency exchange, baggage carousel area, local police, flight information screens, pet areas, and taxis are at Level 0.
• Level 1: Boarding gates, charging points, children’s playgrounds, along with multiple stores, are at this level.
• Level 2: All airline counters, check-in areas, security checkpoints, Fast lanes and other facilities are available at this departure level.   

Note: Satellite Terminal T4S also manages a few Iberia flights, mainly to and from non-Schengen International countries.

Iberia Arrivals Terminal at Madrid-Barajas Airport

At Madrid-Barajas Airport, Iberia Airlines has arrivals via Terminal 4 and T4S. However, all arrival procedures of both buildings are completed at Terminal 4, Level 0.

• If arriving at Terminal T4S, use the internal connection bus or the underground Automated People Mover (APM) to reach the main terminal building.
• Reach the baggage carousel area and reclaim luggage. For any issues, visit the Iberia baggage handler at the baggage reclaim hall 10 and 11, in the Arrival hall. 
• Afterwards, go through the customs checkpoint before exiting the Iberia Terminal Madrid.
• Taxis, express lines, and buses can be hailed right outside the terminal building.

Departures Terminal of Iberia at MAD Airport 

Terminals 4 and T4S are used by Iberia Airlines at MAD Airport for departures. It mainly uses the boarding gates of H, J, K, and S.

• Iberia Airlines has multiple check-in counters for its various ticket holders:

1. Counters 780-789 for Economy class
2. Counters 790-799 for Business class
3. Counters 810-829 for international flights
4. Counters 850-859 for domestic and African flights
5. Desks 870-889 for flights to the United States
6. Desks 900-909 for flights to Britain and Japan

• Additionally, self check-in kiosks can be used, located near the check-in desks.
• The Iberia Madrid Terminal also has Fast Lanes and Fast Track facilities for skipping the security queues at Level 2 checkpoints.
• Look at the information screens to find the Iberia flight’s particular boarding gates.
• Iberia has specific information points at Level 1, boarding gates area H and K at Terminal 4 and in gate areas S15-16 and S39-S40 of Level 1, T4S.
• The airline also has a Dali VIP lounge at Terminal 4, Level 2 and Velázquez VIP lounge at Terminal T4S at Level 1.
