Lufthansa uses Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport, managing all its flights, domestic and international, from this central location. It conducts both arrivals and departures through the same terminal, using the four available levels. This airline opens its online check-in 30 hours before departure, and at the airport, flyers can utilize the self-service kiosks to print their boarding pass. However, the first class check-in area is in Hall A, including direct access from parking area P31. Zones 12 and 13 of departure halls A and B contain the bag drop stations. Economy Class and Premium Economy Class families can check in their bags at the Lufthansa FRA terminal. The operating hours are from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Lufthansa handles its departures through Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport. Level 1 has all the essential equipment, including check-in and boarding facilities. It uses Hall A for boarding and zones 12-13 for fast bag drop. 

• Complete check-in either online (30 hours earlier) or using the self-service kiosks at the airport to obtain a boarding pass. 
• Drop bags at the counter, depending on the priority level. 
• Move to the security checkpoints and head to Hall A. 
• Check the gate number from the boarding pass and wait in the area to enter the plane. 

NOTE: Flyers can pre-book their slots at the TSA security checkpoints at FRA Airport to speed up the checking process.
