United Airlines uses both Terminal C and E at Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport. It conducts only flights within the United States through Terminal C, while utilizing Terminal E for both domestic and international operations. United Airlines Arrivals in Houston

Level 1 of Terminal C handles United Airlines arrivals, as it contains the baggage claim area. But Level 1 of Terminal E has the Customs and Border Protection Office for the immigration clearance process. 

• Domestic flights arrive at Terminal C, and passengers can move to the baggage claim area directly. 
• International planes of United arrive at Terminal E. 
• Flyers should complete their customs process at level 1. 
• Take the Skyway to reach Terminal C, where baggage claim belts are present.

IAH United departures

Level 2 of both IAH Terminal C and Terminal E manages United Airlines departures. Domestic flights mainly depart from Terminal C, and international operations take place at Terminal E.

• Use the assigned terminal to complete the check-in procedure either through counters or self-service booths. The airline schedules the departure 24 hours after online check-in becomes available. 
• Move to the TSA security checkpoints near the United Club. 
• Terminal C has 30 boarding gates in two concourses: North and South. 
• Terminal E consists of 24 boarding gates, specifically for United Airlines. 

NOTE: Boarding begins 30 to 50 minutes before the airline’s scheduled departure time.
