The IAH Terminal B handles the regional and domestic flights of United Airlines. Terminal B at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is being rebuilt as part of Houston’s bold plan to improve the future of travel. The project will add 22 new gates in the North Concourse, improve 18 gates in the South Concourse, and almost double the size of the central area used for check-in, security, and baggage claim. The new design also features massive glass, approximately 67,000 square feet in total, with windows reaching up to 45 feet in height. This will allow more natural light inside and create a bright, welcoming space for passengers.

To handle the traffic of flights and passengers, the terminal is divided into a North Concourse and a South Concourse. Currently, the terminal features 30 gates, but in 2026, 22 new gates will be added to the north concourse and 18 gates to the south concourse.
