John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 8 has recently undergone modernization to improve baggage systems, add new check-in spaces, and add premium lounges. The JFK Terminal 8 modification project was completed in November 2022. Led by American Airlines and British Airways, with support from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, this $400 million investment has created a state-of-the-art facility. The terminal serves both domestic and long‑haul international flights, and has retail and dining, as well as contemporary passenger services.
