Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) Smoking Area

According to Florida state laws and federal airport regulations, smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is strictly prohibited inside the Punta Gorda Airport terminal. For travellers who wish to smoke, the airport provides designated outdoor smoking areas. There are no smoking areas available once a passenger has passed through the TSA security checkpoint, so it is recommended to use the designated Punta Gorda airport smoking areas before screening.

Designated PGD Airport Smoking Areas

While the passengers are not allowed to smoke inside the terminal building, there are some dedicated outdoor smoking areas located near the curbside and the short-term parking lot, where they can use traditional smoking, e-cigarettes and vaping devices. Travellers can follow the signage marked on the PGD airport map to access these areas.

Also, there are no designated smoking areas available after passing through the security checkpoint. Once the flyer clears the security check-in procedure, they can’t exit the secure area to smoke and then re-enter without going through security again.
