United Airlines hosts its operations through Terminal 2 at Ontario International Airport. It primarily conducts flights to and from the United States and Canadian cities. This terminal has two levels for supporting arrivals and departures. The lower level features all baggage and ticketing facilities, while the upper level provides security checkpoints and boarding gates. The check-in counters operate between 4 a.m. to 8.45 p.m. The United Airlines ONT terminal doesn’t have a specific lounge for these flyers. Hence, they can utilize the partner lounges within the same terminal. Additionally, due to the TSA expansion, the airport closes family restrooms temporarily.

United Airlines uses Terminal 2 at ONT Airport to serve its domestic flights within the United States. It held both arrivals and departures through the same terminal, offering all facilities at the operational levels. It also provides pre-paid ONT parking options with a starting rate of $10 for an hour. 

• Level F1: This is the lower level with baggage claim belts, United Airlines ticketing counters, and bag drop stations. Arriving flyers can access the buses, public shuttles, rental car companies, taxis, and rideshares from outside of the terminal. 
• Level F2: The departure level with all boarding gates and security checkpoints. Eligible guests can access the Aspire lounge at this level to relax before getting on the plane. 

NOTE: The airport offers both general and premium parking lots 2, right in front of Terminal 2, with the availability of EV charging stations.

The lower-level F1 handles all arrivals of United Airlines through Terminal 1 at Ontario International Airport. As it only runs domestic flights, passengers can move straight to claim their bags after disembarking the plane. 

• Arrive at the lower level and follow the signs to the baggage claim area. 
• Check the information boards for the carousel numbers. 
• Go to that specific belt and collect the bags. 
• Exit the airport using ONT ground transportation.

Ontario Airport Departures of United Airlines

United Airlines manages its departures using both available levels at Terminal 2 at the ONT Airport. Flyers complete their check-in at the lower level, then move to the upper level to board the flight. The ticketing counters open at around 4 a.m. and close by 8.45 p.m. 

• United Airlines also offers online check-in that begins 24 hours before departure. Download the mobile boarding pass and go straight to drop off the bags at the counters. 
• Post ticketing, move to level F2 for security check. 
• The boarding pass states the gate number for boarding, from 201 to 212.

United Airlines relies on Terminal 2 at Ontario International Airport for holding its flights within the U.S. All flights arrive and depart through this terminal, providing all necessary facilities. However, the Aspire lounge closes every day by 12 a.m. and opens again at 5 a.m.
