Structure of O’Hare Alaska Airlines Terminal

Terminal 2 is the ORD Alaska Terminal and has numerous levels, with arrivals and departures at different levels. 

• The Pedestrian Tunnel Level houses the Main Parking Garage Lot A and provides a connection to Terminals 1 and 3.
• The Lower Level has all baggage claim belts and access to ground transportation options.  
• Departures hall and check-in counters are on the Upper level of the terminal.
• The Mezzanine level houses the USO lounge and the chapel area. 

Alaska Arrivals at ORD Airport

Flights of Alaska Airlines arrive at the G Concourse gates of Terminal 3. However, all arrival procedures are completed at ORD Terminal 2. 

• On disembarking, follow the overhead signage to reach Terminal 2.
• Go to the lower level of the Alaska Airlines Terminal at ORD to reclaim the luggage. Specific baggage belts can be located with the information display boards.
• Lastly, head to the Lower Level Roadway, which has taxi stands and other transportation facilities.

Boarding Gates of Terminal 3 Concourse G are used for Alaska flight departures. Check-in counters and security screening areas are at the upper level of the Alaska Airlines Terminal at ORD.

• The ticketing and check-in counter of Alaska is near Door 2E, Terminal 2. It is operational daily between 4:00 am and 8:45 pm.
• Use online or mobile check-in from 24 hours before the flight to skip the counter lines.
